Sketch Dump May 2017 by Tomozaurus Sketch Dump May 2017 by Tomozaurus
Cleaned out my room today and hence a lot of sketches that I do while in Saurian calls or whatever are bound for the garbage, so I decided to archive them here.

Really loving these ones, looking forward to the next dump.

What's the Styracosaurus frill covered? Looks a lot different from the keratine the Trike has.

It is a sheet of keratin that has cracked and splintered into pieces, like on the head of a wood stork.

Is there concrete evidence to support this, or just artistic rendition?

What species is the one above the Troodontid? I like how the Dimetrodon looks. The Triceratops is excellent, as are the maniraptorans. Yay for Tyrannomon.

You recently seems to be drawing Tyrannosaur body integument quite ambiguous, neither feathered nor scaly(not that I have problem with it).

(I first mistakingly wrote this as a reply of Zhombah's comment. My bad.)

Well not really. I've only done so in sketches (both of Daspletosaurus), and I actually did them both at the same time, immediately after the Carr et al. paper, just to explore what a tyrannosaurid might look like following his opinion. It is just that at the time I only put the bust up.
