Silky Bird by Tomozaurus Silky Bird by Tomozaurus
Serikornis sungei. One of the most beautifully preserved feathered dinosaurs yet, almost the entire plumage is preserved in exquisite detail.

May I give a criticism?

1. Work on the wings. Look at modern birds today. their wings don't dangle from their bodies, but their actually folded inward. I understand that Paravian arm flexibility was weaker, but  they should still be folded in like this.

2. The legs look... wrong. they legs are way too long compared to what the animal's skeleton shows. Just like mammals, birds with and without feathers can be decieving of their anatomy, so the legs would probably appear shorter than this.

Thanks for citing my work, but it shouldn't be the case. I have to revise that diagram just to be sure, since a lot of things came up and many possibilities have opened, even if its premises are still valid..
Plus, I wouldn't say that Tom should correct the wings of his drawing since it is his everyday job. Literally.

Beautiful. The way you draw those feathers is both awesome and inspiring.

I fear that hindlimbs are disproportionately long.

They are literally traced straight from the fossil.

You are too fast for me! XD I really like the covert feathers texture and how you reconstructed the long neck feathers. Looks like you reconstructed all the 2017 paravians! ^^
