Description

So people sort of have a vision of what "my" Tyrannosaurus rex is in terms of how I reconstruct its integument based on what I think the most likely scenario based on the current evidence is (which has now been adopted by Saurian). But recently, this view for me has changed based on some new data and new interpretations of old data. So I figured I’d update one of my old line arts to show off my current thinking on the most likely integument for T. rex based on the current evidence circa 2014.

I frankly think it's awesome that we are finding more that theropods possessed father and are related to birds since it could mean they more bird like behavior. For example it could be speculate that they would have  raised their offspring until their late teenage years in pair kinda in the way modern vultures and eagles do.
