Ha, cop that scanner. I beat your arse.

So yeah, a Dromaeosaurus albertensis. Not much else too it. Was just a random, spur-of-the-moment piece.

EDIT: I'm not really happy with how the head came out post-auto-contrast, so I might play around with it a bit and do a re-upload.

Any good skeletal reconstructions out there for D. albertensis?

Unfortunately not. For this I had to transpose the measurements of D. albertensis onto Scott Hartman's Utahraptor skeletal.

I was planning on drawing all the animals of Hell Creek for my field guide anyway, so you will have adequate references.

Aren't scanners a pain in the ass? I have the same problems with mine :grump: But this still looks really cool! I'm with MattMart on this one; the feathers are very nicely done. :)

I was actually going for a condor-like look with the head, but I don't really think it came off, especially after photoshopping it.

Cool! I like how you strategically hid unknown bits like the sickle claws ;) Feather texture is stunning, as usual! Really get a ratite-like vibe.
