Aerodactylus portrait by Tomozaurus Aerodactylus portrait by Tomozaurus
Some 10 years ago I drew a portrait of Pteranodon. I consider this this first ever serious attempt I made to reconstruct a prehistoric animal accurately. The first that was beyond just a sketch from memory in a school book. This can be considered something of a spiritual successor to that image.

Much to my dismay, I am yet to catch or hatch an Aerodactyl in Pokemon Go.

Aerodactylus scolopaciceps
Pencil, 2016.

As a random suggestion, why not use your knowledge of pterosaur anatomy to make a realistic "reconstruction" of Aerodactyl?  I'm sure you'd easily do it justice.

I have yet to catch or hatch an Aerodactyl either. But I'm still trying--everytime I see a 10k egg, I try my hardest to hatch it just in case it turns out to be an Aerodactyl. My sister already has -_-

Beautiful work! What's that texture at the end of the beak though? It looks as if it has scales, but that's just keratin?
